Dayanand Arya Vidyalaya Mandi
The School was started in 1944 as a Primary School in the premises of Arya Samaj Mandir. The School was patronised and run under the guidance of Late Swami Krishnanand and Late Sh. Dina Nath Vaidya, Advocate. The School was upgraded to Middle Level in 1980 and to High Level in 1984. Since the year 2002 it has been upgraded to Senior Secondary Level.
This is a co-educational institution affiliated to HP Board of School Education Dharamshala upto Senior Secondary Level and runs classes from Nursery to Class XII (Arts, Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce streams).
Presently the school is managed under patronage of Maharishi Dayanand Shiksha Parishad, a registered body. The school has the facilities to provide education in Science, Arts and Commerce streams.

Dayanand Arya Vidyalaya Mandi continues to uphold traditional values while adopting contemporary infrastructure and pedagogies. We live today in a world that is very different from one we grow up in , the one we were educated in. The world today is changing in such an accelerated rate that we, as educators need to pause and reflect on entire education system. At Dayanand Arya Vidyalaya Mandi, unrelenting effort goes in mentoring and metamorphosing the uncut diamonds into finer gems.
Our aim is to work unanimously to unleash the inherent, intellectual social and emotional capabilities of all students who pass through the gate of this school. Is our school well equipped to prepare our children to face the challenges that the future hold?
Such questions motivate us to go through a continuous process of reflection and hence we at Dayanand Arya Vidyalaya Mandi work at implementing a well balanced curriculum to ensure that the children of our school will not just love their school but truly be prepared to face the challenges of life. Team work is the hallmark of Dayanand Arya Vidyalaya Mandi.
We aim to provide continuous and comprehensive evaluation education with state of art facilities for the holistic development and all round growth of the child.
